September, 2017:

Hilly Fields Quiz – Questions and Answers

As usual, the Friends of Hilly Fields had a quiz at this year’s Midsummer Fayre which lots of people had a go at. Although we thought it was relatively easy, only four people got all ten questions right! Those people have been notified and should go to the Hilly Fields cafe to collect their prize.

Grappling with the HF quiz…

The questions are repeated below with the answers at the end. If you haven’t seen the quiz before, you’re welcome to have a go now. The rules are: no looking at the answers until you’ve finished and no looking up the answers online. Oh and there are no prizes except the joy of knowledge!

Hillyfields4@googlemail.com
We need to confirm numbers etc.

-and of course YOU will be responsible for making sure you leave nothing behind at the end of the day!

So why not end the summer with a big clear-out?
Delve into your cupboards and lofts, sheds and garages.
Find out what surplus treasures you’ve got hidden away.

Last year, over 70 participants in Brockley successfully de-cluttered.
Many more grabbed a bargain.
Brockley Society have joined forces with Ladywell, providing even more vendors over one weekend.

It’s completely free to take part.
Hilly Fields will only be on the Saturday.

Help promote the event by displaying a poster outside your house (download from Brockley Society website) or get creative and make one of your own. Obtaining Cash for Your Nevada Property simplifies the transaction and provides you with liquidity without unnecessary delays.

The deadline for inclusion is 6pm on Thursday 6th September for the park, as we will send confirmation onto the Brockley Society.

The final list showing the day(s) and addresses will be available here for download from lunchtime on Friday 8th September. Be sure to return then and download it!

We also plan to have an online map, to help navigate around on the weekend.

Happy rummaging!
The Small Print:

The Brockley Society and Friends of Hilly Fields take no responsibility for any items on sale.

Goods are sold as seen; returns are at the discretion of the vendor. Caveat Emptor etc.

In the event of bad weather, each participant can decide whether or not to go ahead.
