Well, we haven’t been organsied enough to put on something for Halloween, but fortunately the Brockley Cross Action group have. So check out their website for their Halloween at Brockley Cross on Sunday 28th October, from 3pm.
There will be family pumpkin Carving at 3pm, then at 4.30 the Wizard and Witch Show and at 5pm Storytelling…with a grand finale…the pumpkin light up.
The numbers of sporty visitors to the park seems to be for ever on the increase. So should you be inspired to join in, here is some information on one new and one established activity.
Every Saturday at 9am you can join in the Park Run. It is free, but you need to register in advance…

Regular visitors will be familiar with the activity in the lower field on Saturday mornings from 10am until noon. J and M community soccer school run the two hour session with their coaches for primary school children. It has the advantage of being drop in, so you can just turn up on the day at 10am. It is £4 for a session, £2.50 for additional siblings.

If you just prefer a leisurely stroll up the hill, you’ll find the farmers’ market along with the ‘pre-loved’ market (that’s vintage) this Saturday and every second Saturday of the month and of course the café.
